A Legacy of Excellence
The $376-million St. Regis Longboat Key Resort and Residences is a newly completed luxury destination located at 1620 Gulf of Mexico Drive on Longboat Key, a picturesque barrier island near Sarasota, Florida. Spanning 18 acres and offering 1.1 million square feet of opulent accommodations, the resort features five six-story buildings. The hotel includes 168 guest rooms, with 26 lavish oceanfront suites ranging from one to four bedrooms, each with separate living spaces, private terraces offering breathtaking ocean views, and the renowned St. Regis Butler Service. In addition, the property offers 69 private luxury residences, varying in size from 1,553 to 5,895 square feet.
Developed by Unicorp National Developments, Inc., the project brought together a distinguished design team, including 10SB (formerly SB Architects), Enea Landscape Architecture, RSM Design, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA Miami), and Marc-Michaels Interior Design.
Over 28 months, a dedicated workforce transformed the site of the former Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, with up to 800 workers on-site at the height of construction. This project highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of general contractor Moss, known for their ability to deliver complex and intricate developments.

The resort boasts a wealth of luxurious amenities, including an 800-foot private beach and 42 water features, such as a family-friendly winding river and a 500,000-gallon saltwater lagoon where guests can swim among tropical fish and meet resident Aldabra giant tortoises. Additional facilities include a cutting-edge fitness center and a children’s club.
